  • “I Was Right”: Trump Ally Laura Loomer’s Post After Biden Cancer Reveal

Laura Loomer, a close ally of US President Donald Trump and a MAGA (Make America Great Again) influencer, on Monday claimed former President Joe Biden could “die in the next 2 months.” Her statement came after the Democrat’s office confirmed that Biden has been diagnosed with an aggressive form of prostate cancer.

In a series of posts on X, Loomer said people owe her “an apology” for not believing her when she claimed “Biden was terminally ill last July.”

“I was right about the medical emergency…And I am going to be proven right when he dies too. Biden is terminally ill… A lot of people owe me an apology. I told you all Biden was terminally ill last July. Terminal is 6 months to a year… Won’t be long,” she said.

She retweeted a post from July 2024 where she claimed that Joe Biden “is dying”, and wrote, “Like I said in July, Biden is terminally ill. Don’t forget when I reported on how his brother Frank blurted out that his brother was terminally ill…Biden could very well die in the next 2 months.”

Loomer also alleged that “the White House physicians have long been suspected of fabricating his medical records.”

“As I reported last year, White House physicians had many late-night visits with Biden that went past midnight. Check the logs, you’ll see for yourself,” she wrote on X.

She also shared a “video from 7/20/2022 of Biden admitting he has cancer.”  However, at the time, the White House clarified that Biden was referring to his skin cancer that was removed before he became president.

She claimed that “Biden likely had cancer his entire presidency. They covered it up for 4 years.”

“Everyone is saying they hope Biden recovers. He’s not going to recover…We need to accept reality and start investigations. This is the biggest scandal to ever come out of the White House,” she said.

  • Former US President Joe Biden Diagnosed With Aggressive Prostate Cancer

United States’ former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with an “aggressive” form of prostate cancer that has spread to his bones, the Democrat’s office announced on Sunday. The press statement said the Democratic leader was diagnosed with the disease after he experienced urinary symptoms, and a prostate nodule was found. Now, the Biden family was reviewing options for possible treatment plans.

“While this represents a more aggressive form of the disease, the cancer appears to be hormone-sensitive, which allows for effective management. The President and his family are reviewing treatment options with his physicians,” the statement said.

The 82-year-old leader’s son, Beau Biden, also died of cancer in 2015. According to the statement, Biden’s cancer was found to have “a Gleason score of 9 (Grade Group 5).”

Prostate cancer that looks “very abnormal” is assigned the highest rating, Grade 5, according to the American Cancer Society. The Gleason Score goes up to 10, indicating the seriousness of Biden’s disease.

Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer in men, with the American Cancer Society reporting that one in eight men in the United States is diagnosed with it over their lifetime. While it is highly treatable if discovered early, it is the second leading cause of cancer death in men, the organisation said.

  • On Pak Protest In Portugal, India’s “Operation Sindoor Not Over Yet” Response

The Indian Embassy in Portugal issued a response following a protest organised by Pakistani nationals outside the Chancery building near the Embassy office in Lisbon. Calling the demonstrations a “desperate provocation”, the Embassy said that India responded firmly through “Operation Sindoor.”

“Embassy of India in Portugal responded firmly with ‘Operation Sindoor’ to the cowardly protest organised by Pakistan near our Chancery building. We thank the Government of Portugal and its police authorities for their support in ensuring the safety and security of the Embassy,” it wrote in a post on X.

The post also included photos of Indian officials standing on the balcony of the embassy office with the banners on the wall, which read: “Operation Sindoor is not yet over”.

Calling the protest “cowardly,” the Embassy said, “India will not be intimidated by such desperate provocations. Our resolve remains unshaken.”

India’s Ambassador to Portugal, Puneet Roy Kundal, also took to X and said that the protests organised by Pakistan were met with a silent yet strong and resolute message that “Operation Sindoor is not yet over”.

  • Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” Taxes Remittances. Big Impact For Indians

The US House Budget Committee voted late on Sunday night to advance President Donald Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill Act”, which would make sending money back home more expensive for thousands of Indian residents and non-resident Indians (NRIs) living in America.

The bill proposes a 5 per cent tax on all international money transfers made by non-US citizens, including non-immigrant visa holders (like H-1B) and green card holders. If passed, the law would withhold 5 per cent of the remitted amount at the point of transfer. No exemption threshold limit has been set, meaning it would even apply to transfers of small denominations.

The section on remittances in the 1,116-page legislation, however, specified that the 5 per cent clause will not apply to any remittance transfer by a ‘verified US sender’, meaning if the sender is a US citizen or national of the United States.

The law could come as a massive financial blow to nearly 45 lakh Indians living in the US, including nearly 32 lakh persons of Indian Origin

According to a remittance survey published by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in March, of the total $118.7 billion remitted in 2023-24, nearly 28 per cent or $32 billion came from America. Taking this figure as the benchmark, the Indian community may have to pay $1.6 billion (5 per cent of $ 32 billion) as remittance tax if the law is enacted.

The proposed tax is not limited to monetary remittances and would also affect transfers of investment income or proceeds from stock options — means often used by non-resident Indians to support families back home or make investments in their home country.

    Mass Deportation Operation Funding

The legislation hits immigrants in more ways than one. It would provide $46.5 billion to revive construction of Trump’s wall along the US-Mexico border, and more money for the deportation agenda. It includes $4 billion to hire an additional 3,000 new Border Patrol agents, 5,000 new customs officers, and $2.1 billion for signing and retention bonuses. There’s also funding for 10,000 more Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers and investigators.

It also includes major changes to immigration policy, imposing a $1,000 fee on migrants seeking asylum – something the nation has never done, putting it on par with a few others, including Australia and Iran.

Overall, the plan is to remove 1 million immigrants annually and house 100,000 people in detention centres.

On Friday, a group of Budget Committee hard-liners voted to block the litigation from moving forward, defying Trump and Republican leaders. However, in Sunday’s vote, the bill was passed by a 17-16 vote and moved one step closer to a floor vote.
